Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of Mr. Jordan A. Jones, 47, of Fort Lee, on charges of Possession and Distribution Of Explicit Images of Minors.
According to police, on Tuesday, December 10, members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at the residence of Jones during the course of an Explicit Images of Minors investigation.
Police say the investigation revealed that Jones used the Internet to view, download, and possess more than 1,207 digital files depicting nude and/or sexually explicit prepubescent and pubescent children, and to share approximately 657 such files online.
Police arrested Jones then charged him with 2nd-degree crime; and Distribution of Explicit Images of Minors in an amount greater than 25 files, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:24-4b.(5)(a)(iii), a 2nd-degree crime.
The incident remains under investigation.
