Below Zero Temperatures to Grip NJ on this Valentines Day

New Jersey

Forecasters from Accuweather.com are warning of the coldest air of the winter on this Valentines Day.

According to Accuweather.com, double digit below zero temperatures are gripping much of the New Jersey and will last up until Monday.

Forecasters said a month with temperatures averaging several degrees above normal through the first two weeks, temperatures through Valentine's Day weekend will be held 10-20 degrees below normal.

Temperatures will be 30 degrees lower this weekend, when compared to highs last weekend forecasters said.

While the deep freeze will take hold of NJ on Sunday, forecasters have predicted a swift rebound for next week.

"While the temperature may get as low as all of last winter in some places this weekend, the cold air will not linger like it did last winter," according to AccuWeather Chief Meteorologist Elliot Abrams.

"Temperatures will rebound back to above average in NJ to start the new week."
