Good morning, Jersey! We’re waking up to another cool and absolutely awesome morning across Newark and the North Jersey region.
It is currently 68 degrees in downtown Newark, and we’re expecting another beautiful day that will look a lot like yesterday.
This pleasant stretch of late-summer weather continues, giving us comfortable conditions to enjoy throughout the region.
Temperatures are especially refreshing outside the city this morning, with Sussex around 54 degrees, Morristown at 55, Somerville at 56 and parts of Passaic County around 59 degrees.
And if you’re headed out for some back-to-school shopping today, we’re sure the kids are extremely excited about that!
At least you’ll have some great weather to get it done.
According to the National Weather Service, clouds will increase today with a high near 81 degrees. West winds will range from 5 to 9 mph.
Tonight will be mostly clear and comfortable, with temperatures dropping to around 63 degrees and light northwest winds.
It’s shaping up to be another fantastic day across the Garden State.
