Authorities have released the identity of the 37-year-old Bayonne woman killed Tuesday after she veered off Route 280.
According to police, officers responded to Route 280 near mile marker one in Parsippany, shortly after 3 p.m. for a report of crash.
Preliminary investigations revealed that Nicole Nawrocki, driving a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero, for unknown reasons veered off the road and came to a halt after she struck several trees.
Nicole Nawrocki was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
