Bayonne Residents Arrested for Possession, Distribution of Liquid Cocaine

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force and Homeland Security Investigations announced the arrest of two Bayonne residents for possession and distribution of liquid cocaine in Bayonne.

Task Force Officers arrested Yasira Reyes-Santana, 32, and Melvin Alcantara-Dominguez, 31, after a search of their residence led to the recovery of approximately 1000 grams of liquid cocaine and more than $65,000 in U.S. currency. The street value of the total quantity of cocaine seized is approximately $70,000.

Authorities charged Reyes-Santana and Alcantara-Dominguez each charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance (Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance, Certain Public Property, Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Dangerous Substance (Cocaine) and Money Laundering.

The above charges are merely accusations, and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
