The body of a 23-year-old Basking Ridge man was pulled from a Georgia lake over the weekend after he reportedly drowned while playing a bachelor party game.
According to authorities, Robert Zachery "Zach" Bunsa, was in Georgia for his bachelor party when he allegedly attempted to see how long he could hold his breath underwater at Lake Sinclair in Rocky Creek sometime around 6:40 p.m. Saturday.
Officials say it was shortly after when the 15 men in his bachelor’s party realized he was missing and one of the men dove in and eventually pulled him out.
Upon arrival, an officer performed CPR on
Bunsa who was ultimately pronounced dead at 7:20 p.m. by the coroner.
The cause of death is under investigation.
