Police reported no injuries in a shooting in a section of Newark Friday morning.
The early-morning incident happened around 12:15 a.m in the area of 245 6th Avenue.
Officers arrived at the scene and found shell casings after a gunman fired several shots in the community before fleeing.
Authorities say a ShotSpotter device alerted them of gunfire in which they raced to the scene to investigate
The shooter remains at large.
