Authorities Urge Residents to be Vigilant After Berlin Park Assault

The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Berlin Borough Police Department are urging Berlin Borough residents to be vigilant following an assault reported in Berlin Park this morning.

The victim, a woman in her 20s, was running in the park at approximately 9 a.m. when she was assaulted from behind by an unknown white male. The victim was able to flee from her attacker and lock herself in her vehicle until help arrived.

Detectives are actively investigating this matter. 

More information regarding the suspect and the incident will be provided as it becomes available.

Berlin Park is between the White Horse Pike, New Freedom Road and Park Drive in Berlin Borough.
