Authorities in Newark seek the public’s help in identifying a man in connection with a theft that occurred on Thursday, July 6.
According to Newark Police, at approximately 7:15 a.m., the suspect entered a building in the 500 block of Broad Street, walked into a retail section, and stole $450.00 and a credit card from a cash register.
Police said the suspect also stole an electric scooter from the building’s storage area.
The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5’8” tall, wearing all-black clothing.
