Several armed robberies at gunpoint committed by a team of suspects has police from several municipalities in the Essex County on high alert.
East Orange police reported an armed robbery that happened near 10 Lincoln Street at around 7:30 a.m where about four male suspects robbed to female victims for personal possessions before fleeing the scene.
The men entered a silver Jeep and fled the scene towards Newark.
Police in Newark reported the same vehicle that was occupied by several men was responsible for several armed robberies in the city including one in the area of Stuyvesant and Underwood at around 11 a.m.
There were no physical injuries reported.
