Authorities Search for Suspect in Morris County Convenience Store Robbery

Authorities are trying to identify a man wanted in connection with an armed robbery at a local convenience store.

Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp and the Long Hill Township Police Chief Michael Mazzeo confirm that on Saturday, Feb. 25th at approximately 8:20pm, an armed robbery occurred at the Country Farms convenience store, located at 87 Division Avenue in the Millington section of Long Hill Township.

The preliminary investigation revealed that a white male entered the store, pointed a handgun towards the clerk, and demanded money.

The clerk turned over a sum of money and the suspect immediately fled on foot.

There were no injuries, according to authorities.

The suspect, who remains at large, is described as a white male, approximately 5’9” tall, thin build, approximately 175 pounds, with some facial hair, and wearing camouflage style military clothing.
