Authorities are on the scene investigating a possible homicide in the city's East Ward at this time.
According to a spokesperson for the Essex County Prosecutor's Office, police responded to the 300 block of Elm Street a little after 5 p.m. where they found at least one person dead at that location.
Authorities said details are limited into the official cause of death at this time.
"We will release additional information regarding this homicide as soon as we gather additional facts " the spokesperson said.
