Burlington County authorities are actively investigating a pedestrian strike that left one person dead overnight in Edgewater Park.
It happened at around 3:30 a.m. in the 4300 block of US-130 near the 45 Street Pub where emergency responders arrived to find the unidentified person severely injured at that location.
Medical personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Police closed off all southbound lanes to conduct the accident investigation.
There were no arrests immediately reported.
