Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose and Chief of Police Darnell Henry announce that additional officers will be assigned to patrol areas near houses of worship and cemeteries during the Passover and Easter holidays.

“We look forward to seeing our residents and visitors enjoy a safe holiday season and we’re supporting them by deploying additional police officers,” Director Ambrose said. “We encourage our neighbors and friends to download the Newark Police Division app to report crimes or other suspicious activities.
