Authorities have released the identity of the 25-year-old Jersey City man that died Tuesday evening after crashing his motorcycle in East Rutherford.
Police were called to Berry's Creek Road sometime around 8 p.m. for a report of a crash.
Upon arrival, police found a Honda motorcycle, operated by Dashawn Hill, who was seriously injured.
Hill was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 10:35 p.m.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, according to police.
