The State Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the woman who was tragically killed this morning as a result of a train crash at Hoboken Terminal Rail Station.
The victim has been identified as Fabiola Bittar de Kroon, 34, of Hoboken.
According to officials, sometime around 8:45 a.m., a commuter train traveling at a high rate of speed crashed into a wall of the Hoboken Terminal building.
The impact of the crash, left the four-passenger-car train's passengers suffering injuries, killing Bittar de Kroon, who according to officials was standing on the platform.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
