Authorities Continue Search for Man Responsible of Break-In at Paterson Animal Shelter

Paterson Police and the Passaic County SPCA are looking for a man who broke into the Paterson Animal Shelter and stole two dogs that were rescued from a dog fighting ring.

The unidentified suspect broke into the Rye Road shelter in the early morning hours on Tuesday, May 12. 

The two dogs that were stolen were rescued from an dog fighting ring that was dismantled by the Paterson Police Department and Passaic County SPCA. Four men were charged in connection with the illicit operation.

We would like to help identify this suspect and rescue these dogs from any further violence. Please take a few minutes to view the video.

There is a $5,500 reward for anyone with information that leads to an arrest.
