The Office of Public Integrity and Accountability within the Attorney General's Office and the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office are investigating allegations that Paterson Police officers assaulted a then 19-year-old man without provocation during the early morning hours of December 14, 2020, in the vicinity of 1245 Madison Avenue in Paterson, at approximately 12:30 a.m. Anyone with information about these allegations, including any videos, is encouraged to call 1-844-OPIA-TIP (1-844-674-2847).
