A late night attempted robbery at a gas station had police track down the suspect a short time later.
Police responded to a gas station located in the 700 block of Green Street shortly before 10 p.m. where they began a search for a male suspect that attempted to rob a customer at the station.
When the victim refused demands, the suspect attacked the victim then reportedly fled the scene on a NJ Transit Bus.
Police tracked down the bus at the Metro Park Train Station where officers arrested the man without incident.
The victim's injuries were reported as minor.
