Police in Montclair are investigating reports of an attempted luring that happened in the city overnight.
According to initial reports, police were called to an address on Midland Avenue at around 10 p.m. where they began a search for a dark colored work van with tinted windows wanted for reportedly attempting to lure a 12-year-old girl to get inside the vehicle.
When the girl refused, the van sped off heading northbound on Midland Avenue according to reports.
Police are looking to question the driver of the vehicle.
