Police in Newark are on the search for a suspect who is wanted for an attempted robbery of a Newark Dunkin Donuts overnight.
The incident happened at around 11:30 p.m. in the teen's block of Court Street where police responded to reports of a robbery in progress.
First arriving police officers canvassed the area for a black male who was last observed wearing a gray hoodie, gold pants, and blue high-top ssneakers when he entered the establishment and attempted the crime.
It is not immediately known what type of weapon (if any) that the suspect used during the incident.
The suspect is also wanted for an armed robbery that occurred a short time before this incident in the 800 block of Broad Street.
There were no physical injuries reported.
Police are investigating.
