Atlantic City Woman Pleads Guilty to Possessing Cocaine

Authorities in Atlantic County announced that on Thursday, February 5, Jessica Lugo, 40, of Atlantic City, pleaded guilty to second-degree possession with intent to distribute cocaine, in exchange for a recommended sentence of five years in New Jersey State Prison.

ACPO officials stated that on March 20, 2025, Detectives observed Lugo in the area of 3501 Pacific Avenue. Detectives knew that she had outstanding warrants for her arrest. Detectives took Lugo into custody.

During a search incident to her arrest, detectives recovered 15 grams of crack cocaine along with empty wax folds and a glass pipe, ACPO officials say. 

According to Atlantic County officials, Lugo was also charged in relation to a subsequent search of an apartment at 3501 Pacific Avenue, where additional contraband was located.

Sentencing will be on March 19, 2025, before the Honorable Dorothy-Incarvito Garrabrant, Atlantic County officials said.
