Atlantic City Man Pleads Guilty to First Degree Drug Production Charges

A 23-year-old Atlantic City man pleaded guilty Monday to charges of maintaining a drug production facility, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.

According to authorities, Ahmaad Williams pleaded guilty to first-degree Maintaining a Production Facility. The plea calls for a sentence of 10 years New Jersey State Prison and he must serve 2.5 years before being eligible for parole.

Officials say Williams admitted that during and between October and December 2017, he maintained the property of 810 North Maryland Avenue Apartment C in Atlantic City for the manufacturing of heroin, specifically by the processing, packaging, repackaging and labeling of heroin at that location.

This case was investigated by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Unit, Atlantic City Police Department and Hamilton Township Police Department.

According to authorities, Williams is lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility. Sentencing is scheduled August 31st before Judge Donna Taylor.
