Atlantic City Man Fatally Shot in Florida Avenue Incident

Tragedy struck the Atlantic City community as an Atlantic City man succumbed to gunshot injuries sustained in a violent incident that occurred on November 7.  AdThe shooting took place at approximately 8:05 pm in the vicinity of Florida Avenue, situated between Atlantic and Pacific Avenues in Atlantic City.

Officials said the victim, identified as 23-year-old Mr. Luis Rosa Rodriguez, was transported to AtlantiCare Hospital, City Division, where he tragically passed away earlier today.

The incident, marked by its tragic outcome, has sparked an active homicide investigation led by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, working in close collaboration with the Atlantic City Police Department.

Authorities are diligently pursuing leads and evidence to shed light on the circumstances surrounding the shooting and identify those responsible.

While the investigation is ongoing, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office has issued a call to action for the community.
