Three lucky tickets matched all five numbers drawn splitting the $73,116 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Friday, March 1st drawing. Each ticket is worth $24,372.
The winning numbers were: 10, 15, 23, 33 and 42 and the XTRA number was: 03.
Those tickets were sold at the following locations:
Atlantic County: Circle K, 3001 Ocean Heights Ave., Egg Harbor Twp.;
Camden County: Tavares Supermarket, 3506 Westfield Ave., Camden; and
Union County: Krauszer’s Food Store, 724 South Springfield Ave., Springfield.
Acting Executive Director James Carey said, “We are thrilled that the winning jackpot tickets were sold at Circle K, Tavares Supermarket and Krauszer’s Food Store. The retailers will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for each winning ticket sold. Overnight, they have become three more ‘lucky locations’ for the very fortunate lottery winners.”
Carey announced that there were 250,622 tickets purchased for the drawing. By adding XTRA, for an additional $1.00 per play, winners are able to multiply their non-jackpot prizes by the XTRA number drawn. For correctly matching four of the five numbers drawn, 34 ticketholders won $562 each and 10 others won $1,686 each with the addition of XTRA.
Moreover, for correctly matching three of the five numbers drawn, 1,299 ticketholders won $17 each and 273 others won $51 each with the addition of XTRA. Lastly 3,577 ticketholders each won $2 for correctly matching two of the five numbers drawn with the addition of XTRA on their purchase.
