Authorities seek the public’s help in locating Ms. Nicole Commander, 36, of Newark, who they said is wanted for an assault that occurred on Wednesday, August 2nd.
According to officials, at approximately 11 p.m., police responded to Summit and James streets on a call of an assault.
Upon arrival, police located a male victim who alleged that he was cut with a knife following a quarrel with Nicole Commander, who he knows. EMS treated the victim at the scene.
Detectives developed sufficient evidence to secure a warrant for Nicole Commander’s arrest on charges of Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purposes.
While police are actively searching for Commander, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing her from the streets.
