Officials are asking for the public’s help in locating Mr. Hisahn Ballard, 39, of Newark, who is wanted for a domestic violence aggravated assault that occurred on September 21st, 2018.
According to authorities, at approximately 2:40 a.m., police responded to a South Ward residence on a call of an aggravated assault.
Police say Ballard entered the house of a woman he knew then waved a handgun in the direction of the victim and another man at the home.
The suspect, Ballard, threatened to kill both victims according to police.
Detectives developed sufficient evidence to secure a warrant for the arrest of Ballard on a charge of Aggravated Assault under the State’s Domestic Violence Laws.
Police describe Ballard as 5’11” tall, at approximately 175 lbs., medium brown complexion, brown eyes and has a bald head.
While police are actively searching for Ballard, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from the streets.
