Arrest Warrant Issued for East Orange Woman Wanted for Newark West Ward Burglary

Police in Newark are reporting that a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Miajah Rahman, 28, of East Orange, who is being sought on a charge of burglary for an incident that occurred on Monday, May 4.

According to a statement released by police, shortly after 10:30 p.m., a vehicle parked in the area of 30-32 Unity Avenue was broken into and clothes were stolen.

The female suspect fled into a gray 4-door truck that fled westbound on Unity Avenue.

Detectives investigating this incident have identified Rahman as a suspect and obtained a warrant for her arrest.

Police say Rahman is described as 5’4” tall and 160 lbs. She has a medium brown complexion, brown hair and brown eyes.
