Authorities in Morris County are investigating a stabbing incident that sent one person to the hospital in a section of Dover on Sunday night.
It happened around 10 p.m. in the 100 block of East Blackwell Street.
According to police, they were dispatched to the area after they received reports of an injured person and when they arrived, they found the bleeding victim suffering stab wounds at that location.
The unidentified victim was transported to Morristown Medical Center to treat severe injuries while officers took a person in custody at the scene.
Police have not yet started the motive for the stabbing.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
