Police in Newark are on the search for several males wanted for a shots-fired incident in the city's Ironbound section Friday evening.
In the fourth shooting incident that erupted around Newark, police say the victim told them that three armed suspects skated towards him in the vicinity of East Kinney Street and McHorter just before 7:10 p.m. then fired shots in his direction.
The victim was not injured during the shooting, according to police.
Police say immediately after the shooting, the suspects swiftly skated away from the scene and remain at-large.
Police say in 24 hours, there have been six shootings with one fatality and two injuries around Newark which began at 6:30 a.m. Friday.
Five of the shootings were in Newark's West Ward, according to police.
All of the incidents are under investigation.
