Newark Police requests the public’s help in locating a vehicle wanted in connection with an attempted robbery that occurred on Friday, September 16.
Police said the suspected vehicle, occupied by two individuals, followed a tow truck to a location on Whitney Street and attempted to take a repossessed vehicle at gunpoint.
According to police, a light-skinned female and a male were inside the suspect vehicle, which fled the scene after the failed robbery attempt.
Detectives investigating this incident seek the public’s help in locating this vehicle, a blue 2021 Jeep Compass with New Jersey registration “C74-NER”
