Armed Suspect Stabs Building Superintendent in Newark's South Ward

Police are investigating a stabbing incident that left a building superintendent injured in Newark's South Ward on Wednesday afternoon. 

It happened around 2 p.m. on Chadwick Avenue near West Bigelow. 

Police say they arrived and found the building superintendent bleeding from his face after a violent encounter with a knife-wielding man. 

The superintendent was transported to the hospital, suffering non-life-threatening injuries. 

Newark Police are investigating the motive behind the attack.
