Police in Jersey City are looking for a suspect wanted for a severe aggravated assault attack on a victim early Sunday morning.
The incident happened around 1:20 a.m. near 125 Belmont Avenue.
Police were dispatched to the area after receiving reports of an injured person and when they arrived, they found the victim suffering life-threatening injuries.
Authorities believe the suspects approached the male victim and demanded his wallet and cellphone before the vicious beating.
The victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment.
Police say the suspect fled the scene and remains at large.
