Police in Summit are on the search for an armed robbery suspect that held up one person last night in the city.
The incident was reported at around 9:30 p.m. in the 70's block of Orchard Street where police were called to the scene after receiving reports of an armed robbery in progress.
Arriving units were approached by the victim who told them that while in they were in the area, a black male suspect -who was around 5'9" tall and wearing dark clothing- pointed a gun and demanded personal possessions.
The suspect took a wallet and a cell phone before fleeing the scene according to the victim.
There were no physical injuries reported.
