Authorities in Newark are on the search for a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Sunday, January 28th.
Police say at approximately 5:40 p.m., a female victim reported that an unidentified male robbed her at gunpoint taking personal items in the 100 block of Vesey Street.
Police described the suspect as a male with dreads, 20-25 years old, approximately 5’10” to 5’11” who wore a black and red jacket, blue jeans and a black hat.
According to police, the suspect was accompanied by a female suspect described as 20-25 years-old, 5’11” who wore a black coat and blue jeans.
While police are actively searching for these suspects, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing them from city streets.
