Authorities in Elizabeth are investigating an armed robbery that happened overnight in the city.
Police were called to the 900 block of Elizabeth Ave. shortly before 10:20 p.m. where they arrived to find several women at the scene who reported being robbed by at least three men at that location.
The women reported being approached by three black males who were wearing dark clothing when they pointed guns at them and demanded personal possessions before fleeing the scene.
There were no injuries reported.
