Paterson Police are on the search for a suspect following an armed robbery at a local 7-Eleven store.
The crime happened around midnight at the convenience store located at 202 Ryerson Avenue.
Police rushed to the scene after receiving reports of an armed robbery in progress.
Upon arrival, store employees informed officers that the suspect had successfully stolen an undetermined amount of cash.
The assailant, who implied having a weapon, managed to evade capture, leaving no physical injuries among the staff.
Police believe that the suspect made his getaway in a stolen Chevy Colorado bearing the New Jersey license plate "A85-GAT."
The search for the vehicle and the suspect is underway. Paterson Police are actively investigating the incident, appealing to the public for any information that could lead to an arrest.
