Armed Robbery in Jersey City Restaurant Under Investigation

In the early hours of Monday morning, Jersey City Police responded to an armed robbery at the Domino's Pizza located at 741 Communipaw Avenue.

The incident occurred at approximately 1 a.m.

According to preliminary reports, a Hispanic male suspect armed with a knife entered the restaurant and demanded cash from one of the employees.

The suspect acted swiftly, emptying the cash register of all its contents before fleeing the scene.

The assailant was described as wearing a green hoodie during the robbery. Thankfully, no physical injuries were reported in the incident.

Jersey City Police are actively investigating the armed robbery and searching for the suspect, who currently remains at large.

Law enforcement is urging anyone with information about the incident or the suspect's identity to come forward and assist with their ongoing investigation.
