Police in Newark are on the search for three violent armed robbers that held up a grocery store in the city's South Ward on Sunday evening.
The suspects conducted the armed robbery at a grocery story located in the 800 block of South 14th Street at around 8:30 p.m.
The manager of the store said the men demanded all of the cash from the register while one of the men climbed on top of an ice cream freezer to clean out the register and violently force a cashier to the ground.
The men reportedly fled in a dark colored Ford Explorer before robbing several other store employees.
