Police in Newark are on the search for several suspects who are wanted for a set of armed robberies that occurred on a Newark North Ward street Saturday morning.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the vicinity of Ballantine Avenue and Ridge Street to investigate reports of an armed robbery that happened at that location.
Upon arrival, they were informed by the victim that three black male suspects exited a dark-colored vehicle armed with guns and demanded personal possessions.
The suspects took items from he victim before speeding from the scene in the car according to police. Authorities say the suspects are one for at least one other robbery that occurred in the North Ward.
There were no physical injuries reported.
