An armed man robbed a Paterson gas station late Tuesday night, police said.
The robbery happened about 10:45 p.m. at the Jersey Oil gas station located at 191 Lafayette Street. Police say attendant called for help after an armed male arrived at the station and demanded cash at gunpoint.
After getting some cash, the robber ran from the gas station and was last seen running down the railroad tracks. Officers searched the neighborhood but didn’t find the suspect.
The attendant did not suffer any physical injuries according to police.
Officials asked anyone with information to call the Paterson Police Department.
