Police reported no injuries in a shots-fired incident in Newark's Vailsburg section Saturday evening.
Residents in the area of Isabella Avenue and Grove Terrace notified police when they observed armed suspects reportedly fire guns in the air around 6:10 p.m.
Officers arrived at the scene and found shell casings, but after canvassing the community, no injuries were reported.
Authorities have not reported an arrest at this time.
