Police in Newark are attempting to find the motive behind a shooting that occurred on a city street Sunday evening.
The shots-fired incident occurred at approximately 5:45 p.m. in the 500 block of Orange Street, where police raced to the scene to investigate.
Units arrived to find evidence that a shooting occurred, but after they searched the area, they were not able to locate any victims according to reports.
Police say four bullets struck two vehicles causing damage at that location.
The suspect remains at-large and the investigation is active.
