Plainfield Police are on the search for a suspect who stole a vehicle at gunpoint in a section of the city Friday evening.
According to preliminary reports, police issues a be on the lookout to surrounding municipality police departments for a green Nissan Ultima that was carjacked in the 200 block of Orange Street before 10:15 p.m.
The victim reported being approached by two suspects -one armed with a gun- and demanded keys to the car. The car has a reported NJ license plate number "REG-A40"
Police say the suspects were accompanied by a white vehicle, possibly a Silverado.
No physical injuries were reported.
