Police in Newark are looking for suspects responsible for a carjacking in the city’s South Ward Sunday.
Officers were called to investigate an armed carjacking in the vicinity of 121 Jelliff Avenue around noon.
Police arrived and found the victim, who reported that about a half dozen males approached, one armed with a gun and demanded the victim’s 2014 Hyundai Sonata.
The suspects were last seen heading northbound on Jelliff Avenue.
No physical injuries were reported.
