Newark Police officials are investigating a reported armed carjacking in a section of the city's South Ward on Wednesday night.
Police say they received reports of a carjacking in progress in the vicinity of South 13th Street and Madison Avenue around 9:50 p.m.
Units arrived at the scene and were told by the victim that two armed suspects pointed the weapons and took a black 2013 Jeep SRT8 with tinted windows.
Police say the suspects sped away from the scene in an unknown direction and remain at-large.
There were no physical injuries reported.
