Police are investigating a reported armed carjacking that occurred early Monday morning in Paterson.
According to preliminary emergency dispatch reports, officers responded at approximately 2:12 a.m. to the 500 block of East 28th Street after receiving reports of a gunpoint carjacking involving a Honda Accord.
Authorities have not yet released information regarding the suspect or suspects, whether any injuries were reported, or if the stolen vehicle has been recovered.
The incident remains under investigation.
