Police in Jersey City are looking into reports of an armed carjacking reported in the city Friday morning.
The incident was reported around 2:20 a.m. in the area of Virginia and Ocean avenues.
An armed suspect reportedly approached the victim and demanded a 2006 Chevy Impala before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.
The vehicle has reported NJ license plate numbers "L62-NUM".
There were no physical injuries immediately reported.
