Police in Irvington are investigating reports of an armed carjacking that occurred in the township overnight.
Officers responded to the 1000 block of Clinton Avenue before 1:30 am to take a report of a carjacking.
According to preliminary reports, a thin black male approached the victim armed with a silver hand gun and stole the victim's silver 2013 Toyota Vienza before fleeing the scene.
There were no physical injuries immediately reported.
