Passaic County officials announced that on on Thursday at approximately 11:09 p.m., Passaic Police were dispatched to the area of River Drive and Westervelt Place on a report of a carjacking at gunpoint.
Police said upon arrival police located a 23-year-old Saddle Brook resident, who reported that as he exited his car he was assaulted at gunpoint and his car keys were demanded from him.
According to police, the suspects then fled the area in his vehicle.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
